Hueina received her Certified Empowerment Coach (CEC) certification from theInstitute for Professional Empowerment Coaching(iPEC Coaching), which is accredited by International Coach Federation (ICF) and one of the world's foremost coaching schools. She is also personally trained by Terri Levine, PhD, Mater Certified Coach, aka The Guru of Coaching and founder of Comprehensive Coaching U. She started her first career as a Registered Nurse, and has more than 20 years of experience in nursing, counseling, coaching, training, education, consulting, nonprofit management, sales, small business start-up, freelance, etc.
Hueina holds a Master of Science in Family Studies from University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from National Taiwan University. Other training includes Landmark Forum, Landmark Advanced Course, Landmark Self Expression and Leadership Program (SELP), Jack Canfield's Success Principles Coaching Program, Guided Imagery, Clinical Aromatherapy.
Hueina is an adjunct faculty at the County College of Morris (NJ) and Dartmouth College (NH), offering continuing education courses for nurses. Hueina defines her life purpose as "to create, inspire and enjoy life".
Coaching is a natural integration of her education, professional &
personal experience, and life purpose. Born and raised in Taiwan,
she graciously blends her Western education and Eastern philosophy
in coaching and everything she does. She has lived and traveled
extensively in Asia and U.S., which enhances her natural ability to
understand, appreciate and work with people from different backgrounds.
Since she has lived in many places (her record was living in 4 states in 6 calendar years), and thrived in so many professions,
Hueina is extremely adaptable to change and great at reinventing
herself. All these life experiences became incredible assets in her coaching, and her clients benefit greatly.
Meeting Jack Canfield
With her extensive personal and professional experiences as a Nurturer, Hueina understands deeply the challenges that women Nurturers face every day. Brought up in a family of 4 generations of doctors and nurses, and having been a nurse herself, she knows first-hand the stressful lives they lead. She had experienced and overcome Nurturing Burnout herself as an RN caring for terminal cancer patients, and again as a full-time counselor, commuting 3 hours everyday, while caring for her newborn baby. She has since successfully made the transitions from full-time working mother, to stay-at-home mom, to an entrepreneur and professional life coach.
It is her passion and personal mission to empower other women Nurturers to practice Intensive Self-Care, create work-life balance, restore joy and inner peace, and create the life they truly desire. By changing the lives of Nurturers, she intends to empower these women as role models for the next-generation women, and impact all the lives they will touch for generations to come.

Hueina lives with her husband of 15 years and their two beautiful children (age 13 and 11) in New Jersey, USA. In her spare time, she enjoys freelance photography, reading, writing, music, fencing, movies, gardening, travel, yoga, hanging out with friends and family, volunteering at her children's schools and charity, and training in martial arts (Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi Sword, and Kung Fu). She holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, competed and won multiple gold & silver medals in Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu and Tai Chi Sword, in state and regional tournaments.
One of her personal goals is to become a grandma with lots of inspiring and adventurous stories to tell. She is working on that every day.
